Of paramount importance to Murray Steel is being fully committed to maintaining the quality of products and services supplied to customers.
As part of that our steel plate and processing, and structural steel divisions have achieved numerous quality-related accreditations, including the National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) 3B (2015) standard for Stocking & Distribution Activities for Structural Steel Products.
NHSSs are designed to address a number of key quality aspects including providing an industry benchmark, identifying risks and opportunities, ensuring that all processes are planned, providing a basis for continuous improvement, focusing on quality as an objective and reducing costs for clients and organisations.
Achieving this accreditation at three locations - Manchester, Sheffield and Middlesbrough - clearly demonstrates our commitment to quality throughout the company, and reaffirms our ability to supply structural steel products specifically for highways projects nationwide.
Commercial & Operations Director, Dean Boden, commented: “Our teams work incredibly hard to ensure the quality of our products, processes and services, and accreditations like NHSS 3B are recognition that we are achieving the high standards we continually strive for.”
