The entire Murray Steel team were delighted to congratulate Oscar Liversidge on the successful completion of his Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3 recently.
Oscar completed the final end point assessment just prior to Christmas and passed with flying colours!
At 17, Oscar was one of the youngest apprentices to join the company in July 2022, and was excited to enhance his business knowledge and learning from the Murray team.
Over the course of his apprenticeship, Oscar has gained invaluable experience and his success is a testament to his hard work and commitment.
He said: "I am pleased to have passed the apprenticeship, and I am looking forward to taking the things that I have learnt during the course and continuing learning on the job from my mentors within the Murray team. Now, as a qualified member of the admin team, I'm hoping to increase my value to Murray in the future."
Oscar’s role is varied covering all aspects of administration for both Plate and Structural businesses with a primary focus on transport planning, maximising utilisation and minimising miles covered, costs and our CO2 footprint.
We take immense pride in investing in our people and providing career progression opportunities, and our apprenticeship programme continues to deliver exceptional results.
As a specialist supplier of steel plate and profiling, as well as structural steel, with a rich history spanning over 70 years, we recognise that the success of our business is built on the strength of our team. Our apprenticeship programme is an integral part of this, helping us nurture talent and ensure that we have a skilled workforce ready to meet the demands of our industry.
Congratuations once again to Oscar, and we look forward to seeing him continue to develop and contribute to the success of the company.
We also encourage anyone interested in joining our apprenticeship programme to get in touch. We are always looking for passionate individuals to join our team and begin their career with us.
